APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Looking to buy in the next two or three weeks

BUDGET RANGE: I'm in the UK so it's a GBP budget. I'm really looking to spend around £250 but I could go to £300 if the increase in performance would be worth the extra.

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Mostly games, some 3D modelling. I tend to play the latest games and I'm wanting to play Fable III, Crysis 2, Metro 2033 and Skyrim (might be irrelevant - comes out in November).

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: Geforce 8800GTX, Corsair TX950W 950W PSU

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS:
CPU - Intel i7 2600k
MoBo - ASUS P8Z68 V-PRO Z68
Memory - G.Skill 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz RipjawsX Memory Kit CL7 (7-8-7-24) 1.5V
Case - Xigatek Elysium
Cooling - Air but will be watercooled in the future.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: www.overclockers.co.uk, ebuyer.com, scan.co.uk - pretty much any reputable uk company.

PARTS PREFERENCES: No real preferences.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920 x 1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'm not really up on graphics card and the amount of cards and information is overwhelming. Basically looking for the best performance for my budget, whether it be a dual card setup or single.
