Wondering if the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 was an integrated video card or not? Thanks in advance.

It basically means it is integrated graphics card into the Motherboard. It is not a dedicated card.

It is integrated into the chipset, so it is not a card and is instead part of the motherboard. If you intend to play games on the machine then a discrete video card is definitely recommended.

I have the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD. Basically, the mobile version of your integrated graphics and I recommend that you should get a discrete graphics card if you want to play modern games.

I'm averaging 15-30fps in Counter Strike Source and Counter Strike 1.6 is unplayable (must be a bug).

However, if you are just watching Blu-ray movies, connecting HDMI to your TV, and playing Starcraft; it should be sufficient.
