I have a Radeon 9700 Pro Graphics card that I bought several years ago. Now I'm looking to upgrade from my 22'inch CRT Monitor to a Dell 24" UltraSharp 2407WFP Wide-Screen Black Flat Panel Monitor, LCD.
My question is about the new Radeon® X1600 PRO 512MB AGP card for my system? Would this be a great upgrade or would it be better to stay with what I have? It is only 149.99 why is it so cheap..... does anyone have any suggestions.....

The x1950 Pro is supposed to also be available for AGP. Maybe look into that. It think it's HD ready, so with that monitor you're getting it'd be sweet.

Or there is the new x1650 xt.

Well, if you do any gaming whatsoever, the X1600 will blow the 9700 out of the water.

If you're not a gamer, it might not be worth it. Can your 9700 support 1920x1200?
