Yes, however on websites such as Savastore I've seen pictures of old socket-A era Athlons in place of all the socket 939, 754 and 940 CPUs, for example.

A picture's worth a thousand words....a spec list is worth a million (usually)

Its definatly a GX2, because teh picture has the dual cards,
HOWEVER i wouldn't risk buying it because of the unbeliveably low price. 230 GBP converts to roughtly 430 USD, which is an insanely cheap price for a GX2. Most are 50% more, so you'll probably get gypped.

i think is a custom made graphics card,

the gx2 is 500mhz
and the fillrate of a gx2 is 76.8gb/sec

so this well could be a two 512mb 7900gtx just stuck together, ill phone them in the morning.

be still interesting how this would compare to a gx2

Well that looks kind of similar to the cards used in quad SLI setups...

It is. Here is a pic of one of those quad SLI cards in the THG article.

its just a 7900 gx2 isnt it? nvidias first attempt at quad sli

Yeah. From what I gather, it is a single card from nVidia's Quad SLI setup. In reality *I think* it is just a GX2 on a longer PCB board roughly.

In any case, I wouldn't want that big freakin board hanging off the side of my case its so long lol.

top one is a 7900gtx duo

Wow that top card is huge!

In that picture, the top card is a 7900GX2...which is made up of two 7900GTXs!!

The bottom one is 7950GX2...which is made up of two 7900GTs!!

Another thing, being in English Pounds 268.39 including tax is well over $500 USD...........but I know the 7950GX2 supposed to be around $500 mark.

The Svastore picture looks more like a 7900GX2 to me.....being longer and all!!
