NVIDIA Settings are not available. You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU.
Ok, so I don't know what or when it happened but recently, I haven't been able to play certain online games on my laptop. I tried to see if it had something to do with my graphics cards setting but I realised I couldnt even access them. At first I thought it was by internet but now I clearly realised that it isn't.

I looked online for possible olutions but couldn't really find any, I'm a newb when it comes to technical computer stuff but well..

Thanks in advance ;)

Oh, and my Graphics Card model is a GeForce GT650M

its been a year but i just wanna post this maybe it could help others i have this problems before and i just found out that i disabled nvidia services so i just have to enable it.. go to start menu type "msconfig" go to services tab then enable nvidia services... one thing more i found that when i install geforce experience it remove the "adjust video colo/image settings" on the nvidia control panel and it slows my games even photoshop so what i did is i optimized my game on the geforce then re install the nvidia graphics driver on the cd that came along with the unit...

okay, Seems like it cant find your card, have you got drivers for your system? Try updating or downgrading your drivers. (go to google, search geforce drivers, and find that, Quite easy)

hit windows+r
Type dxdiag

Go to display
Does it say anything about your card?

Go back to the main tab
Does it say anything about your card?

Hello, I have the same problem and hoping you could help. Can't see my Nvidia GT 740M graphics.
I checked as you said and when HD graphics is disabled it says nothing about my graphics on these tabs and cant play any games, when I re-enable it it shows info about driver etc on the display tab (Device manager shows I have both these graphics cards). I don't know if its relevent but I very recently (3 days ago) had my motherboard replaced (under warranty). I don't know if it was working before then, just picked it up now playing a new game that keeps crashing.
Have tried updating drivers, said they were up to date, and don't know how to downgrade. My laptop is a Toshiba L50 A013

Quick questions, Is everything a really low resolution? Beacuse, if it isnt, then, its showing that there isnt any driver... so, Go to this website:
http://support.toshiba.com/drivers

Enter your serial key, and, look for graphics drivers. Download, install, You should be good, report back if anything else is wrong...

Here to help :D

I too am having the same problem as these two yet I am running on a Gigabyte P2542 V2. have to run the microsoft basic display driver when my intel HD 4000 driver is disabled. System won't use my NVIDIA GeForce GTW 660M / 2GB at all - yet it shows up on device manager! Please help!

I'd Reccommend Making a new thread, as this is getting pretty old, But, Have you tried going into your Bios and disabling something related to the lines of "Use Discrete graphics"?
