So Im thinking about building a cheap gaming computer. Im not looking for top of the line, just something simple I can replace in 3 years. I basically just need something to play Wow.
Im trying to save money by using some parts off of my old dell. I know dell isnt good for that kind of stuff but whatever I can salvage would help . That being said I currently have a inspiron 530
e4400 dual core cpu
3 gb 667mhz ram
g3302 mobo
Seagate Barracuda ST3320620AS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA
300w psu
ati 5670 2gb
I know that I need a new Mobo with Cpu as well as ram and a psu but I was wondering if I could still use that Hdd and possibly even the tower case. I will be using the Gpu til I can afford better at a later time.
I also need help with deciding on parts, this is what Ive come up with for a cheap build. Keep in mind I get a free Mobo with cpu:
Thermaltake TR2 Series 600 Watt ATX Power Supply
$49.99
Antec VSK-3000E MicroATX Case 27.99

AMD FX 6300 Black Edition 3.5GHz Six-Core Socket A

Or
FX 6350 Black Edition 3.9GHz Six-Core Socket AM3+ Boxed Processor 129.99 with

ASUS
M5A78L-M LX PLUS Socket AM3+ 760G mATX
Both those mobo are offered free with both processors so I have my choice. Also Plus windows 7 oem, my total is about 350$ which is right where I wanna spend..
Im also wondering, because micro center always has refurbished/used computers I might go this route, would this be better then the build I specified?

Thanks in advance for your help!!!
