Hi, for my next setup I am looking to buy an ASUS PB278Q. I want 2 monitors, but I don't want the other to be widescreen, rather, I want it to go vertically against my asus, so I can check temps and usage and such. Something like this or this is what I have in mind. (I also don't need 1440p, I'd rather a cheap 1080p screen) Thanks.

Alot of these are on sale right now for not to bad of a price
Well, no. Those monitors are a bit too big. If you looked at the pictures I linked to in my original post, you would see that the second monitor is tilted vertically. The size a monitor would have to be to match a 27 inch is 15.4 inches. Are there any 15.4 inch 1080p monitors, I wonder?
Hi, did you actually figure it out? I'm looking for the same set up too. Any info would be great!
Thanks
No, but I ditched that setup anyway. For a 27" 1440p monitor, you would need a 15.4" 1440x900 display (2011 MBP). It's possible, I've seen someone do it in a Reddit post somewhere, but it was unfeasible for me.
