780ti micro-freezing in newer games
Around two months ago, I bought a new computer, with these specs:

    EVGA Nvidia 780ti
    Intel i7 4770k 3.5ghz w/ Coolermaster
    8GB Gskill RAM
    Fatal1ty Z87 Killer mobo
    1TB HDD
    256GB SDD
    Windows 8.1

In both BF4 and Titanfall, I keep getting micro-freezes, which last for 1-2 seconds. Occasionally, the game will freeze all together and I have to ctrl-alt-del and end the task manually. Restarting fixes the problem, but it starts up again after a couple of rounds. Could it be a cooling problem? My mobo and case combination forces the fans on the 780ti downwards, away from the case fan. I've recorded temps, and my processor nor my GPU go above 60C. Voltage max is 0.975V for GPU and 1.197 for CPU. Whats going on?

EDIT: Also, it doesn't happen in other games, such as DayZ SA, Sleeping Dogs, BF3

It could also be your internet connection.
Both games require an always on internet connection, especially for multiplayer.
If your ping or connection time to the server is bad then you will get what you are describing.
A ping of 500 means you are 1/2 a second behind in gameplay.

I don't know how to check the ping in Titanfall, but in BF4, my ping is usually <50ms. I have a pretty good internet connection.

Did you check the cable connectors? Are you using multiple monitors?

Just tried it, doesn't help. And I am on a single monitor, 60hz.

try to check if your drivers are up to date. also, check connections on your monitor and gpu. These might be too hot and may be severed under those conditions.

I am using the latest drivers for everything, and I tried doing clean installs too.
