Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 Ti Direct CU II Top VS. Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 Direct CU II OC
I am building a new gaming pc this April 15th. I want to know whether Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II Top 2GB GDDR5 is better or Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 Direct CU II OC 2GB GDDR5 is better. Please help me choose the best one.

These are my specifications :

Processor : Intel Core i5 3570-k 3.4 GHz LGA 1155

Motherboard : ASRock Z77 Pro4

RAM : Corsair Value DDR3 8 GB Desktop RAM (8GB Value 1600 C11 (CMV8GX3M1A1600C11)

Power Supply Unit : Corsair Enthusiast Series Modular TX 650M - 80 Bronze Certified PSU or Cooler Master GX 650 Watts PSU

Graphics Card : Asus Nvidia GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II Top or Asus Nvidia GTX 760 Direct CU II OC(thinking)

Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

I want a quick reply as I am going to build it in 2 weeks. Thanks in advanced!

I heard that :

1. GTX 660 Ti has 1334 CUDA cores whereas GTX 760 only has 1152.

2. Both GTX 660 Ti has a 980 MHz Base Clock (Boost Clock of 1137 MHz) whereas GTX 760 has a 1006 mhz base clock.( Boost Clock of 1072 MHz)

3. GTX 660 Ti has MHz memory whereas GTX 760 has 1502 MHz memory.

4. GTX 660 Ti has 192 bit GDDR5 memory whereas GTX 760 has 256 bit GDDR5 memory.

5. GTX 660 Ti has GPU Boost version 1.0 whereas GTX 760 has GPU Boost 2.0.

6. Both the GPU's have got the gold Award but GTX 760 has got Editor's choice award.

GTX 760 wins in :

1. Having more bandwidth memory.

2. Having GPU Boost 2.0.

3. Having Editor's Choice Award.

GTX 660 Ti wins the rest features.

Note : I am talking about Direct CU II versions of both the cards. I know that the normal 760 beats normal 660Ti in everything.
So, which should I buy? Please help me deciding. Thanks in advanced!

Gtx 760 is all the way better than gtx 660ti. So go for gtx 760.

I'd suggest the 760 it's a 700 series card so it's optimized better. the 760 is a little more powerful than the GTX 670's and with aftermark coolers and overclocks tails behind the 680's and 770 (stock)

Definitely go with the 760. The 256 bit bus and the base clocking is way more important than the amount of CUDA cores you get. I'm stuck with a 660 ti at the moment and I want to upgrade to a 760.
