Very low availible physical RAM!
Hello,
I was browsing through the windows system informations (Windows 7) and wash shocked to find that I only have 1.49 GB of ram free despite the fact that windows detects that I have 8GB installed. Any ideas of what is causing this?

Thanks

Windows has probably cached a lot of memory.

Look at taskmanager and do a rough calculation on actual memory use of system and programs.

Windows caches memory for future use with your most commonly used programs - even if memory is cached, Windows can easily release it, if a program needs more memory.

Okay thanks. Yeah the task manager stuff only adds up to around 2GB
