Hey guys, if i have a good gaming card, say ASUS GTX 780Ti and a good rendering card say, NVIDIA Quadro K6000, is it possible to setup a PC such that I can switch between the both depending upon my need, for eg : When i want to play: my system should switch to 780ti and when i want to render sequences in 3DS Max or Maya then i could switch to my Quadro GPU?
Thank You.
Thank You.

It might be possible by changing the display cable to the desired card and restarting, but it'd be a lot easier and cheaper to get a "semi pro" card like the TITAN or the TITAN Black.Titan is good, no doubt, but i've heard many people saying that Titan is only good when its in SLI.
Well the TITAN is more powerful in some applications while the K6000 is better in others (not gaming though). That said, you could probably 4-way SLI TITAN Blacks and it would 'only' cost as much as a single K6000.
Damn right! K6000 is way costlier.. I believe i should look for alternate possiblities as well
