NO Input detected on monitor display. Please help!
Last week my build shut off suddenly. I identified the problem as the motherboard and sent it in to msi through the rma process.I just received the fully refurbished motherboard, hooked every thing back up (correctly, I am possitive of this because I triple checked everything). When I try to boot it up there is no display detected by the monitor, but the computer its self turns on. Is this something to do with the mobo being reset during refurbishment? Is it the graphics card? Or is there something I am missing? I have no idea what to try next and need some help on this one. Thanks!

I tested the psu, gpu, the cords, monitor and even the ram by swapping parts with my friends rig. Now what?

So you tried putting your friends psu, gpu and monitor in/on your pc, and still nothing?

If so then there is definetly somthing wrong with your motherboard. I would either send it back to MSI and get them to replace it (if you still have the warrenty), or buy a new motherboard.

there is no damage on the gpu connectors. I am headed over to a friends hows to try his monitor, cables and gpu. Could this problem simply that i need to reinstall the gpu or mobo dirvers again or no?

No, hardware these days should still activate and work to a certain degree without drivers. Its just not garanteed to work 100% as intended.

- Try using a different cable
If that doesn't work
- Try a different connector type (vga, dvi, hdmi etc)
If that doesn't work
- A different monitor
Also
- Check that your 6 / 8 pin cables are properly connected to the gpu (and that there are no dmg on the cables).
- A different gpu (or intigrated if you have that).
