Do I need a new power supply for my new graphics card to work 100%?
Hello I just bought a new graphics card.. A Geforce gtx 780 ti sc acx and on the box it says that it supports a power supply with a minimum of 600W and my power supply is 650W..Well I have the graphics card installed and it works great but a friend of mine said that the graphics card is only working at about 80% power because I only have a 650W power supply. Is this true??? Thanks.

The 80 PLUS certified power supply provides high power efficiency of at least 82% at any load between 20% and 100%
No worry for that, u can run you pc with max power...

A 780Ti needs minimum of 42A on the 12V rail and 600W total.

What psu - make and model - do you have?

No thats not true(as long as its a quality PSU). The recommended power is an overstatement, my 760 "requires" 500w, but draws ~230 at load.
If it isnt getting enough power it will shutdown/wont turn on.
