What shall i upgrade too ?
Hi guys
So i am getting a pee'd off playing COD Ghost and it freezing or crashing on me ! its really the only game i play. This is my rig :http://i.imgur.com/Ogz8kMm.png its a gtx 660 twin frozn by the way.
Anyway at present all i can do is have graphics settings really low to play it, it works with max settings but after 1 round it will crash , ive read that this is a common problem with the nvida cards. I i find it pointless having a half decent gpu if i can not use it to its full potential so i am asking for your help ! i have a budget of around £400 maybe £500 at a push please give me some advice lol thanks for looking !

p.s forgot to say my mobo is a P8z77-v lx2 if you need any more info please let me know thanks

Does this happen to other games as well ? Are there any problems with Nvidia cards and their compatibility with modern games ? I'm thinking of getting a GTX 760 , and this worried me.

It will run fine if your PSU can handle it, your CPU is still top of the line gaming CPU.

well i thought it should play fine but as i say it locks up a lot playing ghost and there are so many threads on forums saying its down to the nvida cards and there will be no update to fix it , there are some so called fixes out there but none work , only thing that lets me play for any lengh of time is running really on the bare minimum , which sucks ! would the R9 290 run ok on my setup or would it bottleneck ? thanks

Well it should play it fine unless there is something wrong with the card. Your upgrade budget allows for a R9 290 or GTX780 even with a decent PSU if you do not have a good one.
