3D Mark score to low?
My Build:

Amd Phenom X4 965
Hd Radeon 7850 2gb
8gb Vengence RAM
1tb HDD
500w Coolermaster PSU

I tried running 3d Mark Firestrike (not on extreme) and I got the score 2683?
Graphics Score 4870
Physics Score 1200
Thought it was far too low.

Any ideas would be much appreciated?

That's probably about right for a single graphics card and AMD quad core. My scores, when I run at native resolution of 1920X1200 are at that level or a little more. Running a standard 3DMark setting (?1280X???) my scores are about double that.
3DMark has a scan option to help you get a better score; haven't used it but it probably suggests stuff to shut off and other settings to use.
Also, you didn't state what resolution you used, but try the stock one for 3DMark.
Firestrike is tough for top-end cards, so its going to a llittle harder for your mid-level video.

UPDATE: Just now ran Fire Strike on 3DMark default settings; score was 6548. That's with 8 cores at 3.4GHz or better, and two overclocked EVGA660s. Keep in mind, this is a benchmark, not a real game. My wives PC, with an FX6300 and a GTX 460 (card approx. equivalent to yours) runs around 2500 in Fire Strike.
