Hi,
Basically I have been playing games for years on the family computer and subsequently on my high spec laptop and I've managed okay. I can just about play recent games still on the lowest settings.
Anyway I am looking for a gaming computer for around £1000. I do not mind going towards £1250 if you guys think that it is worth it. I should probably add that I am not very computer literate. I have played games for years but I know nothing about them, I just usually ask wiser people on forums (like I am now) when I'm confused.
From the things that I know I would like liquid cooling and as good as a graphics card as possible within the budget.
I do not think I need a monitor as I can use my samsung TV, at least I think I can but correct me if I am wrong.
I am not fussed about speakers or anything like that, in built in my TV is fine as I will always be using headphones. If there is a particular good headset I wouldn't mind being shown that either, it does not have to come out of the budget.
I would like a gaming mouse and keyboard included into the budget.
I also read that it is by far cheaper to order components separately and then build it yourself. I would not be able to do this, however I do not mind ordering the parts separately and then finding someone in the yellow pages to build it for me.
This may sound like a silly request, I have no idea as my computer knowledge is very low, but I would like it to last as long as possible with perhaps just tweaking certain parts every few years.
Oh I should also mentioned that I am not too bothered about a wireless connector, I would have one if they are cheap, but I would mostly use it with an ethernet cable.
Thanks for reading, sorry if I have missed out any key details, I tried to be as descriptive as possible but my computer knowledge is not great!

A tad over 1000 quid, but nowhere near your max number. These are all very high quality parts, and would look good in a living room (not very big, and very sleek) with plenty of power to play games at Ultra/Max at 1080p for years.

I do not mind going for the more expensive suggestion as I do not need the monitor. I think some friends might know how to build a computer so I can ask them for help. I'm not really very good with my hands though, I was crap at all that kind of stuff back in school!
I'll definitely have a look at them though, thanks!

Hi, I am looking for one myself with a little bit of a higher budget. It was suggested to me that if i wanted to JUST play games with some minor recording and editing, this would be able to play a lot of the newest games at High settings with good FPS etc. Included is a monitor that they added along with an Operating system, neither of these are must haves but are merely suggestions:

However, If you are alright with going higher here is a better build that can do good video editing and play slightly higher settings and still get decent FPS:

NOTE:
If you just watch a couple of videos and read a couple of Tuts on how to build the computer, you WILL be able to build it yourself, and its more fun!
