Some says 550 W is good to go and few says I need to upgrade it to 650 W... I'm confused.
Here is my PC Specs:
AMD FX 6300
M5A99FX Pro R2.0
550W PSU
and R9 270x OC'ed
Is my PC fit to overclock the processor with the current PSU?

a true 550w quality psu would suffice even for overclcocking. what is your specific brand and model?Hmm... it's Cooler Master GXII 550w. Is it better?
well there are better psu out there but it will run your hardware. i would go easy on that unit with overclocking.!
I'm sorry. I didn't get that point. Do you mean to say that I can proceed with this PSU itself?
since you have it deserves a try. i wouldnt try to overclock the hell out of it though as it isnt considered a rock solid unit!
Could I reach at least 4.2 - 4.3 GHz with this?
the recommendation for an entire system with 270x is roughly 25A for the 12v rail. so yours with 44A you can. it wont pass 33A which is the 75% of the label power. as previously suggested do not additionally further o/c the gpu as well.!

If you overclocked the video card personally and are now intending to overclock the cpu too, I'd personally not recommend it although possible. I understand that you might want to do it just to do it but overclocking the FX 6300 beyond 4.1ghz (up to 4.5) wouldn't really give too much of a tangible difference for your trouble and you will be pulling more wattage the higher your voltage goes to achieve those clocks. And your weakest link would be that PSU.
My Graphics Card - MSI R9 270X which is already a Overclocked one. And I see that I must get a new PSU. Let me start saving some bucks for this, then. What about the following PSU? Will that be a good one for overclocking my processor?

Edit: The Price would be in INR Currency. It is about 63 USD

I presume you have some proper cooling on that CPU, not just the stock cooler? Otherwise you won't be able to overclock more than a tiny tiny amount, if at allI've ordered CM Hyper 212X and it's on the way
That's a great cooler - best of luck with your overclocking!!!
Thanks Bud. And this is going to be first experience in overclocking... I'm scared to proceed though. Do you got any ideas like what are the values should I choose for each setting?.. I know this question is so dumb; As I don't want to mess up, I would like to gather some points before I initiate.
