Is my computer under-performing?
I have an amazing, 2000$ computer, that has amazing specs.

Here are the parts to my computer:
16 gigs of ram
250 gigs SSD drive with all my games
Intel i7 processor on 3.5 Ghz not overclocked (8 cores I think)
Two Nvidia 760's in SLI mode
And a motherboard made for gaming

I have a 144 Hz refresh rate monitor, btw

In Battlefield 4 I get only 50-80 fps on ultra, but what is weird is that sometimes it will be on ~130 fps for a game or two, then dip down to 50-80 fps. Every game in Titanfall I have times where I notice low fps which is really annoying. In MINECRAFT, I started realizing it performing really weird, but thats probably just an update or somthing. I use Nvidia GeForce and optimize all my games, but still get bad performance. I even went to Nvidia control panel and made sure it's running SLI mode. So is my computer just not that good? Or does it have a bad SLI cable. I'm really annoyed, because even if I change the settings on games it doesn't help much. I paid 2000 friggen dollars for this thing but it seems like a mediocre PC. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

You don't have a bad SLI cable. This is not the problem.

You should be able to max all games at 60fps. Do you have SLI enabled?

Also, your CPU is 4 cores with 8 threads. Not 8 cores. But that doesn't as an i7 is overkill for gaming and an i5 will max all games. So this is not the issue or even related.

Can you play all games at max with frames above 50fps?

Yeah, I play Battlefield 4 perfectly I guess i'm just kinda a whiney little bitch sometimes. But should I be noticing the fps drops because I do sometimes.
