I have a gtx 780 in my computer. I have gotten into crypto coin mining. the 780 does all I want as far a grafix. I to add another add another card to my computer for coin mining. can I add a AMD card my computer. I will be using the AMD card for only coin mining. will this work ?? or will they conflict and cause my computer to crash. Nividia is beter with grafix, amd is beter at mining. I can only buy one card, so for mining should I add a AMD card, and will it work. or get another gtx 780????

Yes, they will conflict! the only way you can use 2 cards is via SLI or Crossfire, Remember the cards need different drivers, and you can't have both running at the same time. My advise would be to get another AMD card if you are planning on mining, and Xfire those. Good luck.

No - you can't get the amd and nvidia cards to work together. But you can leave the in there and only use one at a time.

You'll find that a R9 290 works as well as a GTX780 for graphics, especially higher than 1080p monitor resolutions or multiple 1080p monitors.

The Radeon cards have dropped in price lately because people have found that it's now not so profitable bit mining. Read up before you change.
