Soon I hope to build my own pc, but, i'm not really sure if the parts ive picked are good for their value, soo im asking for your input to improve my current build:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor (£76.94 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 ATX AM3+ Motherboard (£45.28 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Kingston Blu 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (£27.73 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (£39.50 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R9 270 2GB TurboDuo Video Card (£119.95 @ CCL Computers)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case (£39.95 @ Amazon UK)
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£36.99 @ Amazon UK)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) (£71.00)
Total: £457.34
Also i wasnt sure if a gtx750 ti sc would be a better graphics card than an r9 270

Maybe you can get an ASRock 960GM for less money, and get a micro ATX case, such as this one: http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/pcs/Coolermaster/NSE...But I think your components are quite good for their value
i prefer having more space, thats why i didnt go for mATX stuff
So I see your build pretty good for its value!

I'd change the movbo to a 990fx chipset moboAnd get 2 x 4gb ram to keep the memory controller faster and - 1866 seeing as it's nearly the same price
Otherwise, it looks OK.
a 990fx is waayy out of my price range, i was considering 2 sticks of 4gb, but for now i hope 4 gb will be enough then ill consider upgrading
