Need help, building a gaming computer for the first time, 1,500 dollar budget
My first thread was bad because I didn't know what I was doing and it seems to be buried, so I decided to make a new one, I apologize. Basically I need a new computer but I have no idea what I am doing, I've only ever bought prebuilts. I'm currently looking at parts but I have no idea whats better in term of usage and prices, so I'm hoping to get help here.
Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week (the closer the better)
Budget Range: 1,500 preferably, though I can go over a bit.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, internet, Hulu.
Are you buying a monitor: Yes. Preferably 1920 x 1080
Do you need to buy OS: Yes. Preferably Windows 7.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I like newegg but I'm not picky, if other places are better I won't mind getting pieces from there.
Location: Mckees Rocks, PA, USA
Parts Preferences: none
Overclocking: Maybe. If i can find a safe method to do so, but I have never done it before
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080,
Additional Comments: I would like to play games like skyrim and dishonored on pretty high graphics if I can, though I will use it for internet and tv, this is primarily a gaming comp.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My old computer is dying, I need a new one.
I appreciate any help I can get.
