As the title says, I've got a 550$ budget and now I'm wondering which GPU should I get? Recommend me one and provide some reasons why should I get it.

For overall value go with this 290x, it's only $480 and out performs the 780 in most games:

Watchdogs is performing better with Nvidia cards due to Nvidia Gameworks ( basically the programmers at Nvidia work with the company's developers to optimize the game for Nvidia cards) however the difference in fps is maybe around 5fps in Watch Dogs, not too bad.

As of right now NVIDIA is the better performer when it comes to Watch Dogs. You should have no problems playing any game out right now on ultra @ 1080p with the 780
