Is it okay to keep windows 7 installed on my storage drive?
I'm currently running windows 7 on a Western Digital hard drive but I want to install a new OCZ SSD and set that as my boot drive and use my HDD as a storage drive. Is it necessary to uninstall windows 7 from my HDD when I install windows 7 onto my SSD? Or can I leave it on there so I don't need to reinstall my programs and games? If it is possible to leave it on my HDD, is there any issues that I might run into with things such as drivers?

you can leave it on, just make sure you set the ssd as your primary drive. maybe even disconnect your hdd before and during the install process then reconnect it after you are done (leaving the ssd as your primary boot drive.)

you will then have full access to everything on the hdd, including the windows folder. it wont interfere with your boot up into the ssd windows because the MBR will be on the ssd and the MBR on the hdd wont be read.

alright, thank you so much :)
