Which CPU cooler out of these two is the better?
we have option one

and option 2

They both seem pretty even, which cooler would you get?

I actually already own a CNPS9700 and it can get kinda loud, it seems like the coolermaster would be more quiet and I'd get more airflow?

copper corrodes in the presence of water, not too much of that'll be getting in my case. I already own both of them wondering which one is better.

yes but the zalman is made out of just like, pure copper, doesn't that mean more conductivity?

I heard that the copper corrodes and gets ugly, and for the price, the Cooler Master 212 EVO is the best cooler, as long as you can fit it.

Between these 2, the Zalman is better, both in performance and noise level.

well, the Zalman is actually quite loud unless I use a voltage reducing cable on it, but it says the zalman is louder, I'm just wondering if that since there are two fans on the coolermaster if it would be better and move more air

Well I already have both of them, the zalman is already in my computer, I built my mom a hackintosh for her bday and the CPU fan didn't fit (itx board), the stock fan has been fine, but if the coolermaster is better than the zalman than the way I see it I may as well put the coolermaster in my cpu and the zalman in my mom's seeing as it will fit in hers. I just hate seeing computer parts going to waste and collecting dust, especially nice parts.

I want to OC a little higher than 4ghz but the Zalman fan gets SUPER loud when I turn it up and the coolermaster, for the short time it was on, was virtually silent at full speed. Which one will be better for OC'ing? I mean at least the coolermaster is a push pull heatsink

The coolermaster one has a low rated nose level 19.5 vs 35 dB and other coolermaster heatsinks i have used have all been quality products. With the additional fin area i would assume it performs better as well

the first one is brother? I assume you meant better. But why is it better?

But alas, the zalman is pure copper and has a fan that is 18mm bigger....

its a joke, i linked to a different coolermaster heatsink (hyper 212 evo), (as if they were related since their by the same company) but is better than either of your choices

why don't you buy something smaller and lighter> evo 212 maybe?.................... don't know about the first one but the zalman will warp your motherboard because of the way it attaches to it. ( BOW THE MOBO )

Which one is better for overclocking, I don't want a lot of noise though...
