R9 270 Dual X won't go past 1050mhz
I've been trying to overclock my R9 270 Dual X edition to go past 1050mhz but it won't let me. How can I unlock the capability to go past that?

I believe Sapphire Dual X is voltage locked. I wouldn't recommend changing that though even if you had the option.

I installed MSI Afterburner but it doesn't let me unlock the core voltage, how do I do that?

You need a program like mentioned above, ASUS GPU tweak and MSI afterburner come to mind. Also you may need to flash a custom bios/firmware to the GPU to allow for more overclocking. Not recommending that, though.
