Under BF3 64player multiplayer, my CPU usage never goes beyond 80%.

i checked the cpu playing tomb raider didnt use usage, i alt-tab wasnt 100% at all
a b à CPUs

Check your task manager, look specifically at the CPU usage. I'm already assuming your usage while gaming is probably near 100%. If it is, then you know you've got a CPU bottleneck.

I don't know man. I have pretty much the same CPU than you.. I really hope its not our CPU.

so you think its my cpu?

im thinking the same too i was playing tomb raider and i had everything high except i had AA off i was getting 40-70 fps jumpin up n down i seen this card get higher fps on benchmarks. im thinking its my cpu for sure.

My question is kinda related to yours.. I've been told that our CPUs are good enough for the 280X, should not Bottleneck it.. But since I am getting this poor performance out of it, im starting to doubt that.

Multi: x20 (4.00GHz)
CPU voltage: 1.488v
DRAM voltage: 1.66v
CPU/NB voltage: 1.308v
NB frequency: 2600MHz

i dont play BF3 and when i asked about my cpu being good enough i was asking if my cpu will hold back my card when it comes to FPS. what is your multiplier number and voltage to overclock to 4.0ghz?

I have an AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition, OC'ed to 4.0GHz and R9 280X.. Do you happen to play Battlefield 3? I am having some weird GPU Usage under BF3 Multiplayer 64 players.. Most of the time it sits at 73% GPU Usage (instead of 90-98%)

Are you getting this aswell?
