graphic card is not working right!
Hi. I just brought a new graphic card--Evga GeForce 8400GS-- and installed the drivers. Here's the thing--my hdtv is attached to the card via hdmi as a second monitor. When I restart the pc. the computer screen appears on the tv not the monitor. I tried taking the hdmi out the equation, which helped. When the computer boots up, shouldn't the screen appear on the tv and the monitor. What am I doing wrong? Any help will be appreciated. maryhigginsrice

make sure windows is set to extend displays, by pressing windows key + P, and selecting extend

I have the latest drivers from the website. The problem is Nvidia Control Panel has the tv as the primary display. I tried to change it, but ie changes back to the tv as the primary display. Thanks for helping me. mary
