21:9 Gaming at 3440X1440, Will my GTX 780 Plus Dedicated PhysX GTX 650 ti Boost be Enough?
Like the post says I want to use my current PC setup to game on the new 21:9 ratio, 3440X1440 resolution monitor that came out. I was previously looking to get a 1440p monitor but I am really digging the 34" specs as it would be ideal for my home office/master bedroom. Imagine watching blurays with no back bars and in better than 1080p? Anyhow...my specs are as follows;
Intel i7-3770K OC @ 4.2Ghz,
MSI Z77A-GD55 motherboard,
MSI Gaming GTX 780 3Gb GPU OC @ 1072Mhz,
16Gb G. Skill RAM @ XMP 1600Mhz,
Galaxy GTX 650 ti Boost (dedicated to PhysX),
120Gb SSD for OS,
two WD Blue HDD in RAID1,
Corsair TX750 PSU.
I am likely going to purchase another GTX 780 at some point if this setup does not give me a consistent 60fps but if I can get almost max settings with this hardware I won't rush to go SLI. I am also considering, if this rig can perform well, selling both GPUs to get a Maxwell 800 series card which hopefully can give me better performance at lower power. My thoughts being two 780's will necessitate a new PSU so add another $150 on top of the $500 for the card. So rather than pay $650 to SLI GTX 780's I can sell mine and perhaps get two 870's (guessing) with 4Gb VRAM for much less (say $400 each = $800, selling mine for $400 plus $650 is $1050 so its a couple hundred less.) This of course assumes the 870 will be close to the GTX 780 in performance at a lower power need. As an aside I do not plan to drop $1500 on the LG monitor just yet and won't SLI or sell and swap until the higher end Maxwell cards come out. But what do you all think? Will a single GTX 780 plus GTX 650 ti Boost be able to push 5 million pixels on Ultra? I don't want a 4K monitor and I really like the 21:9 concept a lot. A happy medium between a 2560x1080p widescreen and 2560x1440 QHD. Actually its better than both. Hope to get one for less than half the LG. Thanks for reading/replies.

OK so I guess the consensus is I need to either get a second card to SLI or lower the settings. Thanks.
