Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
I am going to make a gaming PC in the future.

I have decided on
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 760

I am just wondering if there is any better GPU for that price range?

Depends on what you're playing - check the benchmarks of your favourite games and choose between AMD R9-280X and nVidia 760.

Did you mean 770? The R9 280X is not really comparable to the 760.

yes, I did mean 770...
sorry for that mistake, my bad... T.T

The r9 280 (non-x) is similar in price and slightly faster than a 760.

@ Newbuilder11, The 270 is not just below a 760, the 270x is on par performance wise.

Somewhat on par.

But the 280 is faster, but all-in-all it depends of he wants to save money or spend it.

btw. I don't think the FX-8350 is a wise choice unless you play around with enconding, virtualization and/or CPU rendering.

What this stalker is saying is true, intel would be better and it generates less heat :)  and less wattage

r9 280x is better for the price. However, if you do any kind of Linux gaming go with nvidia all the way. Their proprietary drivers are better then amd unfortunately. But if Windows is the only thing then go with AMD
