asus crosshair v formula-z
hey ive bought a asus crosshair v formula-z and 1866 2x8gb ram and its not working when I try and boot. im getting error code 10 and sometimes error code 50.

my specs are HyperX FURY Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR3 1866 MHz CL10 DIMM Memory Module Kit - Blue

Corsair CP-9020078-UK Builder Series 750W CS750M ATX/EPS Semi-Modular 80 Plus Gold Power Supply Unit

AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor (4.0/4.2GHz, 8MB Level 3 Cache, 8MB Level 2 Cache, Socket AM3+, 125W, Retail Boxed)

PNY GeForce GTX 780Ti Custom with GeForce Experience (3GB, PCIE 3.0, GDDR5, 384-Bit)

Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z Motherboard (AMD 990FX/SB950, DDR3, S-ATA 600, ATX, PCI-Express 2.0, USB 3.0, SupremeFX III, Extreme Engine Digi+ II.

the asus website says 1866 isn't compatible with my motherboard. is this the case? ive saw some posts from people saying they have got 1866 ram with theres.

AGree, not a fan of Kingston, especially since they changed some of the lines of DRAM chips completely from 2 to 4Gbit with no change in the model # and no advertising to let consumers know, have had a bunch of people having problems...Also not a fan of the continual use of ICs that require 1.65 to run 1600 sticks

I've come across a lot of people having trouble with those modules.

Make sure you have the latest bIOS and try, if no joy go back into BIOS and raise DRAM voltage + 0.05 and raise the CPU/NB voltage to 1.2 and then try
