Solved Forum question

Hello everyone, this is my first time creating a thread on this site i have heard that this is a good site, anyway I would like to get some advice on overclocking my amd fx 4170 processor which is currently at 4.2 and hoping to oc to around 4.7-4.9.I also have an asus m5a88-v evo motherboard if that helps. I don't really know much about overclocking so any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

The hyper 212 evo is better.
For high overclock i.e. 4.6+ you would have to get some thing better.
Some options; NH U14s, True Spirit 140 Power, Dark Rock pro 2, Havik 140..
If you don't have a case that is 8 inches wide, or want to avoid ram clearance issues, you could opt for CLCs like the H60, H75 or H80i.

So i was thinking about getting the cooler master hyper 212 plus cpu fan and i was wondering if it would fit on my cpu.
