How do you know where to put standoffs for a Micro-ATX on an ATX Mid Tower Case?
Hello Tom's Hardware.

I am a first time builder and would like to know how standoffs come arranged in cases. Are they in a standard ATX board arrangement? My micro-atx will fit into an ATX Mid tower but I'm confused on how I would install the motherboard in.

Thanks!

Some cases have those marked (usually by letter) and the legend should be somewhere nearby. If not, the motherboard manual should tell you. But if you line up the micro-atx motherboard onto your case, just match up where the holes are.
