MSI GT60 Gaming Laptop Under-performing
Recently my GT60 MSI notebook has started to lose performance in some of my games. I used to get a fairly constant 45+ fps on Borderlands 2 with mostly high settings. Now, I am getting around 20-25 fps on low settings (I use a GTX 770m graphics card). Other games have followed suit in lower performance but nothing as severe as Borderlands 2. I have no idea what happened, my computer just started working not up to par around a week ago and I haven't been able to figure out a solution. Anybody know why my laptop would start losing performance?

My specs are:
CPU: Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 770M/ 3GB GDDR5
Memory: DDRIII(L) 8GB
HDD: 1 TB

Open it up as best you can and get an air hose or can of compressed air and blow the case out - to get rid of dust build-up.

I just want to know what "blow it out" means.

It's probably getting hot. Blow it out and use a good laptop cooler.

What do you mean blow it out? And running the games with my main fan going on high does not change the performance by a significant amount.

It's probably getting hot. Blow it out and use a good laptop cooler.
