Best Budget graphics card for 2560x1440 gaming
Alright so I wanna run a 2560x 1440 screen for gaming on high graphics, but i also don't wanna waste money for 2 or 3 more fps. So what is the best bang for my buck for this type of gaming. Please give me reasons to your answers and I appreciate you help. Thanks!

GTX780ti is not overkill, but a GTX780 superclock will do the job.
I would prefer EVGA as a brand.
The card runs cool, no fancy coolers needed.

Well, to play games in 1440p, you do need a pretty overkill GPU. The 780ti is a great option but lacks VRAM. If you wanted to you could get this version of the 780: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

It has 6GB GDDR5 VRAM, which is GREAT for Nvidia surround, 2K, and 4K. It is pretty spendy, though. If you really wanted to, and this is the option that I don't like, you could get an AMD R9 290 for WAY cheaper. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... But I don't like tihs option because I haven't had much luck with AMD in the past (CPU and GPU). In the end it is always up to you, whether you want to get 6GB and maybe play in 4K in the future or get 4GB and still play 4K in the future but get less FPS.

780 ti is maybe your best choice.
You will be able to play in 2560x1440 with a GTX770 in some games.
But if u wanna keep your GPU for 2-3 years and play maybe all games in this resolution you must take a GTX780ti.
For sure a R9 290X is good choice too.
Or you can search for a GTX780 ti with 6GB ram.
