Hi, I've been looking into building a gaming pc recently, problem is, I know almost nothing about this kind of stuff ahaha. My budget is between 700 and 1000 CAD but I would prefer to get the "best for less" if you know what I mean and yes, im from Canada.
I would really like to run BF4 and DayZ on High settings for example, but I dont even know if that's possible with $900 CAD. If someone could do me a build (including monitor) here I would be very grateful. Thanks

cant really cut corners pretty much within ur budget mateOk, You were really helpful. Would it be much to ask if you could do me a build for a budget of 800-900$ now? :$ And would I feel a real diference between the 992$ one? Just trying to get different choices here before I actually spend all that money. Thanks

It depends on what you are going for. AMD is good for Speed and Budget and Intel is for security and data processing, that kind of stuff. Presuming that you have a budget, I'd say walk the AMD way. Perhaps, you could even play around with what you need to run the games on game-debate.comPersonal suggestion, an AMD FX processor, An MSI/ASUS compatible motherboard, A GeForce GTX graphics card. Now depending on what you get, you can work around on other stuff.
I just found this promotion on newegg.com - http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?I...
Im considering buying it, what do you guys think? Will I be able to use it for gaming?
Intel guarantees usage, but I really don't think that the FPS will be so high. Given that the FX AMD series has unlocked cores, you could actually push it to good limits. The config you have is pretty decent, albeit not the best. That said, Iceclocker's suggestions are pretty good.
The build seems awesome but is there any way to get that quality by just a little less money? Not complaining here, just checking if it's possible. Windows 8 is kinda expensive too
I think that you could cut cost by choosing simpler things at places. Do you even crave for Windows 8? I would actually go on record to say that Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit is built for gaming. You should pick Win 7. Also, if you have good air flow where you will keep the system and have an AC, you could save on the Cooler too.
Yea, I actually dont like Win 8, So I think I'll go with Win 7 Ultimate
