I am looking to build my first gaming PC within a few weeks, I just need some help deciding the components based on my needs. It will be my one and only personal computer so it will do a little bit of everything (web browsing, some picture editing, and Gaming). My budget is set between $1,000- 1,200 USD, and the only things that I am reusing is a mouse. There is a microcenter near me if it helps.
Some requirements as of now is for a Intel CPU that is overclockable (not really knowledgeable about OCing, but figure that it might be a nice option to have down the line).
If possible can I get different builds using AMD and Nvidia GPUs (I have no preferences but I would like some comparisons and perhaps some more insight as to which fits my needs and budget best)
*Edit: Ive decided on either the CM storm trooper or stryker case.

Since you're by a microcenter, they have great deals on CPU+Mobo bundles.

Those are the prices before tax, mind you, but there are some pretty attractive options there.

I would go with AMD Radeon with the build, he knows what he is doing. Your build is good but as I said AMD Radeon has made some great changes to your build

Thanks for the suggestion build. Any reason why you chose the i5-4670k and the z87 instead of the i5-1690k and the z97?
They are more expensive at the moment and I was trying to get as close to your budget as possible, however if you have the money go for the i5-4690k and a z97 board so you can upgrade to devils canyon later
I understand, and the budget is not set in stone. Are there any changes given a $100 extra or so? and Is there a particular z97 mobo u recommend if i go that route?
