Need help for my 1st PC build
So I'm done w/ my old gateway gaming computer and looking forward to build a new one. Going for:

PSU: evga 1000w 80 p2
Casing: Corsair Air 540
Cpu Coolant: Corsair H100i
Gpu: gtx 780 ti asus/evga not sure yet
Ram: vegeance 8gb 1600
HD: 1tb seagate/ ssd samsung 120gb

Not sure about the MB and CPU. Definitely hasswell refresh!
i5-4690k + Asus VII Hero mobo ($199 + $189.99) or i7-4790k + ASUS Z97-AR mobo (279.99+109.99). Getting my cpu and motherboard in Microcenter, bundle deal $40 off on any mother board w/ a purchase of a cpu. And I like Asus mobo because of the auto oc.

Asus and Gigabyte both make very good quality motherboards. Some of ASRock are good too. Depends on your budget. You can't go wrong with Asus and Gigabyte though.

The Asus high-end mobos definitely provides good tools for managing OC with OC panel that lets you adjust it on the fly. Definitely good. But not sure it's worth the premium unless you're looking for best performance. But if you're only using the auto-OC feature, then it doesn't sound like you will be tweaking OC yourself so it's less useful to you.

Any suggestion if I do look into manual overclocking? I have till 1st week of August finalize everything

Most mobos have auto OC. It's not special by now.

Yeah I'm only aware of the asus oc. Saw JJ from Asus demonstrating how easy and stable the auto oc that they have in z97 mobo. They have good review about it too

for 2 way sli the 780ti ... 850 watt and 3way 1000 watt

If @Enervon plans to overclock, that will not give him or her much head room.

1000w psu is way overkill for a single 780ti a 650 watt will be enough for your built i will say go with a seasonic psu ...

SLI?

Planning to SLI and I like the 10 Year warranty of evga.
