Hi everyone, so recently I started my first computer build (http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/L2NWzy) and everything seemed to be working perfectly, and as soon as I installed the GPU and turned on the computer, the monitor showed no display at all, for some weird reason... as soon as I plugged off the GPU it worked fine... I made sure I was connecting everything perfectly, 6pins + 6 pins (2 pins) connector... so the problem was not the way I connected it, also my buddy took the GPU to his home to check out if it'd work in his PC and it did... so I thought the problem was in the motherboard PCIe slot, but I tried both PCIe slots and it still did not work, therefore it probably something else... maybe some kind of configuration? PLEASE HELP! This is my first gaming PC build.
P.S. My CPU said something about Intel HD 4000 GPU, not sure if that is important or not, since I could not find the exact name in pcpartpicker for the CPU... but the processor and speed are the same.

Will try and think of something, nothing coming to mind
Ok, so I got it to work, I think the problem was that as soon as I plugged in the graphics card the monitor/pc would go to sleep... so I changed an option in "Wake Up Event By" > Enabled "Resume by PCI or PCI-E device" (altough Im not 100% sure if it was that since I also left the options you told me to change, so now Ill have to change stuff back see what was the main problem) thanks so much for the help! Such a relief that it finally works...
