I currently have an Asus VS247H-P (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) and I have noticed a ghosting effect while looking around in games. There is a gray trail on objects as I look around, it is very noticable in games like Skyrim, Fallout:NV. My friend also bought the same monitor and is having the same problem. Would a monitor with a higher refresh rate such as a 144hz monitor fix the ghosting? Thank you in advance!

The lower that number the lesser change of ghosting. Your in luck, because there is a collation between refresh rates and low response time.
The monitor has a 2ms GTG response time and there is still ghosting. Would getting a 1ms GTG fix that then?
Again, it should improve your chances, but their are no guarantees that it will remove it.
