Hello all. I rebuilt my PC with mostly new parts earlier this week. I switched from AMD to Intel, so I had some initial problems since I didn't properly prepare myself by getting the Intel drivers first or just researching how to easily make the shift. I'm 90% good now, but my GPU isn't being detected. It ran without a hitch for two years before this upgrade.
I have a Radeon HD 7770 with PCIE 3.0. I initially thought it was because the Sandy Bridge didn't run things at 3.0, but was told it would still run but at 2.0 speed. I set the PCIE options in the BIOS to run at 2.0, no dice. Switched it to auto, still nothing. I've reseated it several times already to no avail. I've installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled the Catalyst several times. I can't even run the program because it still can't sense the card (really wish they'd just have individual drivers).
To top it all off, the integrated graphics has this message when looked up in the device managed: "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system."
So that doesn't run properly either (things, such as my games, crash with a fatal directX error 10000000 when I try to run them). So I can't even fully utilize that right now. I REALLY don't want to have this problem be the motherboard, so are there any other fixes I can try? I'll soon be haing my friend help me out by trying my GPU in his MOBO and vice versa.

Post your build.Google the error code
Check how much ram you've allocated to integrated memory.
Have you enabled pcie graphics in bios? You need that for the hd 7770 to work.
i7 2600k Sandy Bridge 3.4Ghz OC'd to 4.2
ASRock z77 extreme4 MOBO
16GB (4x4x8) CORSAIR Vengeance DDR3 1600
Rosewill 750W PSU
Radeon HD 7770 PCIE 3.0
I reinstalled Windows so the error code and the error message for the integrated graphics are no longer a problem. I have 16GB allocated to the integrated memory. PCIE slots are enabled (running on auto) in my BIOS with the PCIE as the primary source of graphics.

When you swiched from the AMD motherboard and CPU to an Intel board and chip, did you reinstall Windows? If not then there is your problem most likely. You would still have all the leftover garbage(drivers/registry entries) from you old hardware causing issues for your new hardware.I ran drive sweeper and stuff like that in the hopes to avoid reinstalling windows, but I did anyway. Still though, no dice. In fact, installing the Catalyst package is now failing completely whenever I try and do it, as opposed to installing but not finding anything to work with.
