2 Different Graphics cards and 2 Monitirs
Hey!

So I just got a new Gigabyte r9 280x today.
I replaced my palit gt 610 card

I realised the new card has : 2 minidisplay ports, 1hdmi and 1 dvi inupt.
(My question is below the picture)

I dont have any wire to connect the minidisplay port
I have my TV connected to the HDMI
PC monitor connected to the DVI input.

My question is:
If I slip my palit gt 610 card back in, would I be able to connect a 2nd monitor to it?

Would this hinder my computers/graphics performance or anything?

Please help me
Thank you all!!

Should not be an issue as long as your PSU and motherboard can support the second card.

I think you would be better off just getting a minidisplay port adaptor. The extra power/heat of having the second card in wouldn't be worth it in the long run.

Yeah I understand.. but I wont be able to do so until next week..
So for the mean time, will it be ok to do?
