Now I get 490 points on DX11, Ultra quality, Extreme Tess, x8 AA and 1680x1050. is it ok for 6950 without overclock? Snagit, Google driver, AVG, IDM and RealTek HD are running in the background.
Thanks.
stop snagit, google driver, AVG, IDM. then look in task manager under processes and stop anything that does not need to be running. then un load all the crap out of the ram by using this method "
if you run stress or benchmarks or any program that gives a score i always release all my ram. it is a command line "%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks" you can drop into "run" and it will free up all ram by running "Process Idle Tasks". want to use a desktop shortcut for the same action do the following..
1. Right click on an empty spot on your desktop and select New -> Shortcut.
2. Type: “%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks” in the box.
3. Click Next.
4. Give your shortcut a nice name like “Clear Memory”.
5. Click Finish and you’re done.
