recently finished my build looking to buy a new monitor and speakers
im currently using a 23 inch samsung hdtv and a benq monitor from like 2006 dont know the model (use it to watch videos while i game) and when i go back to school the tv will be used for tv purposes. i am looking to purchase a 1080p hd monitor and some speakers my budget is approximately 200$ (might be able to adjust that) i prefer to use hdmi. 23 inches or more. i have no clue on resolution preferences. decent computer speakers with good sound

It is for its price, and its almost identical to the LG 22EA63V. It has HDMI VGA DVI and an audio jack. Quite a good monitor.

will it take some time to adjust to a widescreen? is it that much different from what im used to?

You shouldn't even need to configure it. I believe you just need to connect the wire and it'll work. If for any reason you'll need to adjust it, it shouldn't be too hard.

For the monitor i would suggest an "LG 22EA63V" it's really slick and has no physical border distracting you. Its 21,5" and its 1080p. It has an HDMI a VGA and a DVI connection. It also has a jack for the audio so that you can connect headphones or speakers.

As for the actual speakers, i'm sorry i can't help you.

looked it up everything is in uk? cannont find a link to one in the usa

You're right, i didn't think about that. But i've seen they have it in canada. Perhaps you could make yourself ship one from there. Or maybe you could order it from here in europe through amazon.
