Nvidia to AMD Switch: Need Help Finding Problems with Drivers and/or Compatibility
Here is the set up:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650
Motherboard: ASUS P5Q Deluxe
GPU: MSI Radeon HD 7870
Memory: 7 gb Corsair Dominator Ram
OS: Windows 7 64bit

I bought the computer on craigslist and plan on reselling it. The only difference is the it originally had a EVGA gtx 770. Before I switched the Gpus I used Display Driver Uninstaller to remove all Nvidia and AMD drivers. I then swapped the Gpus and install the latest AMD drivers from their website.

The computer runs fine after I restart it to install the Drivers. The problem is that when i shut down the computer it will not restart. The fans run and everything but it doesn't actually start. I used the post beep speaker to determine that it is a GPU problem. The Gpu works fine in my other computer so I don't think that it is a hardware issue.

I think that it is some kind of a driver or compatibility problem. Any help would be great. Thanks
