The expert advice is not to go cheap on a power supply. A reliable dependable source of stable power is needed in order for the rest of your components to function as intended over the long haul. Power spikes and unreliable components can not only damage your PSU but some or all of the connected peripherals.

Go with a solid manufacturer such as Seasonic, FSP, Superflower or Zippy. They make PSU for themselves and for other brands. Do your research.

I would reccomend around 500 - 600 W for most any basic system such as yours. If you want to go with multiple GPUs - you are looking at the 700-1000W range.

Focus on quality and you won't regret it.
