Hello fellow people,
I would really appreciate some input for a solution to my problem. You see I used to have a gaming laptop , The reason I got one was because I usually play games upstairs but at night my parents are sleeping and would rather not hear me speaking on the mic. At which point I would take the laptop downstairs to the living room.
But I no longer have a laptop and was thinking of getting an Alienware 18 but for £3000 I could get a much better desktop and screen.
I want a desktop with a 780ti GTX, 16gb ram, Intel 4790K, Asus Maximus VII Gene, an SSD & HDD.
But What I really am struggling with is a solution to make this rig portable to be able to take downstairs at night and then back up to my room.
I want to take my PC along with my monitor and keyboard and mouse downstairs and put it on a fold able desk in my living room.
Does anyone have any ideas that could make this as easy as possible?
Thanks for reading.

Thanks for the input guys, especially the idea of getting a cable collector and noise isolating panels so thanks. I decided just to get a Coolermaster Scout 2 Advanced case if I need to move it. But for downstairs Im gunna get a Nvidia Tablet so I can stream my games that way using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Does anyone know if I can use a headset to talk to my friends while playing on the Tablet (Via console mode) Thanks

Moving a desktop PC is always a bit of a hassle, depending on how much you need to move it around. All the wires needed for the desktop makes it a bit annoying and plugging those wires in and out can be the most noisy part of moving the desktop.
IF you want to go with the desktop solution you would want a mATX case with good air ventilation (at least one intake fan in the front and one "outtake" fan in the back and maybe even one side fan as well). Then you would probably want to go as wireless as possible (wireless mouse, wireless keyboard and a wireless network adapter if not already included in the motherboard). You can also consider getting wireless headphones but the interference can be a bit too much for most gamers.
If you have the possibility you can also consider using a cable collector for the rest of the cables so you would only have to deal with "one" big cable as shown in the picture below:
