Static through my headphones
I have a set of gaming headphones plugged into my PC through 5 3.5mm jacks in the rear. There is a front, center, rear, sub and a mic jack and ever since I have started using them I have had an annoying kind of "white noise" static through the headphones. The mic built into the headphones is really quiet so I have to use the mic boost and the static gets louder as I turn it up, also have an inline channel volume controller and if I turn up the front, rear, center or sub it also gets worse. Any ideas how to fix this or what could cause it?r

no it's not checked

In that same section, try setting the volume level of the microphone to 0 and see if that fixes it (in the Levels tab)

Yeah if I turn my mic all the way down it will stop the static but I need my mic and it is very low so I have the volume turned up. Any ideas how to get rid of the static and still use it
