I am going to be building a new PC soon with a single r9 270x wind force OC. I may want to upgrade in the future and won't want to buy another PSU . I am using a i5 4670k too. If I upgraded to crossfire would a 600W PSU be enough ?
Also if someone could suggest a specific PSU I'd be very grateful, something that will have the right connectors for the card I'm looking at.
Thanks so much, this is my first build so I apologise is this is a basic question!

You can go for the Gigabyte, you won't regret it.
Here you can see the PSU tier list:
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-...
Any PSU from Tier One,Tier Two Class A and Class B are recommended.Just make sure it's at least 600W,preferably 650W.
Here you can see how much watts you need for every GPU configuration:

All the best.
Thank you, look forward to making this soon!

280X better choice? Of course it is. http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R9-280X-vs-Radeon-R9-270...The 270X "struggles at ultra",while the 280X is "comfortable on ultra".
If you don't want to get the Sapphire, then go with the Gigabyte. It's good as a card and it cools good.
If you do want a Sapphire,then a Tri-X is a good choice.
If you don't want to Crossfire, then an XFX Core 650W is my recommendation for a PSU.
I meant the sapphire in comparison to the gigabyte. I really want to go for a 280x now but still unsure of which one, need it to be a cheaper one though so either the sapphire or gigabyte probably - maybe the Asus.
Also I have found this PSU, what do you think ?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-600W-Bronze-Power-Supply/d...
Seems pretty decent but if you're sure on the XFX then I will choose that.
Thanks for all your help !! ^_^

You don't need the 4GB R9 270X. 2GB is just enough. Try and find a Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X. It has a better cooler than the Gigabyte one.(it runs about 5C cooler than the Windforce).
One thing that you can do is get a single Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X. It comes around $100 cheaper than 2xR9 270X and it can still pack a punch.
If you decide to get the 280X and Crossfire in the future, then an EVGA Supernova G2 850W PSU is the way to go. You can also get a i5 4690K for that extra money.
I am definitely considering 280x now but with a PSU that will just right at about 600/650 (rather than intention for upgrades) as 280x will push my budget (I'm buying peripherals too I don't want much over £1000).
Are you sure the sapphire 280x is the better choice , there are some really bad reviews on amazon. However this is cheaper. But I did see the windforce edition reduced to £210 for this week only somewhere. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-Dual-X-Radeon-GDDR5-Gr...
