I really like this case. With it's easy-to-install-and-mod design and the acrylic window. But it lacks design. Is there anything like this (next to tool-less) that looks nicer?

Well the Fractal Define R4 w/Window is cheaper and looks good too, IMO. Its one of the most popular case for Mid tower with great cable management and good airflow. Going a bit higher price wise, NZXT Phantom 530 (Black) looks even better and has the features mentioned above as well, and is bigger (Full tower) too. Both are good technically, you may decide based on design
is air intake a problem with the define series?
Nope, they're good on it

there are some good looking thermaltake cases (like the g41 commander)
http://www.alternate.be/Thermaltake/Commander-G41-Windo...
or the corsair vengeance c70
http://www.alternate.be/Corsair/Vengeance-C70-behuizing...
(just linking this to get an idea of the looks)
but it's probably better for you to go to a website and check out the cases yourself! it's your case, your taste, you should know what you want ^^
