How much RAM do i need?
I am planning to build a computer and i am not sure how much RAM i should get. Should i get a 4gb or 8gb? I would be mainly using the computer to play games.

Here is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/darkhaven88/saved/2BddnQ

Thank You!

For that build, go for 1 stick of 4GB. You can add more later, if you'd like. :)

Maybe spend the extra money on a 750 Ti.

In my end of the world 8GB which would be 1 stick is cheaper than a 4GB 1 stick of ram.

I strongly suggest getting 8.

How much difference is the price from 4 to 8 for you? If it isn't much, just get 8.

Better grab 2x4GB or 1x8GB 1600MHz with CL 9 or less at 1.5v. It would be plenty

For your system 4 Gb is enough. You won't go on ultra on most demanding games, so I 4Gb is enough in current build. BUT if you upgrade your GPU down the line, the RAM may bottleneck it. So, get a 2x4 kit IF you can afford it.

Get 4gb. That PC doesn't exactly look like it can max BF4 or Watch Dogs. 4gb is enough for medium settings 1080p

get 8 a 4 is just not enough
